Ryan Rana, PhD, LPC-S, LMFT-S
Dr. Rana is a former professor of Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy, and co-founded The Joshua Center (TJC) in 2009. Ryan currently serves TJC as Executive Director.
Dr. Rana specializes in working with couples, trauma, sexual issues and various other outpatient areas. Ryan enjoys working with military and first responder members and/or couples. He also spends significant time studying military training and practice and how it relates to the strategies of counseling.
In addition to those roles, Ryan spends a lot of time providing training opportunities and supervision locally and abroad. Dr. Rana is a trainer for Emotionally Focused Therapy and is the founder of the Arkansas EFT Center.
Before becoming a therapist, Ryan was a collegiate athlete and eventually, an athlete pitching coach at the collegiate level of baseball.
