Jamie Woods, MEd, EdS, LPC
Jamie is a counselor at the Joshua Center, and has been in the counseling field for over 24 years. She has a background working in the prison systems, school counseling, and educational leadership. She strongly believes in the power of relationships and connection in validating individual narratives in order to obtain healing and growth. Jamie loves meeting clients, developing rapport, and brings acceptance, warmth, and understanding to her practice.
Her training has been in trauma, addictions, grief, loss, anxiety/depression, divorce, blended families, and difficult life transitions. She strongly believes in the ability for individuals to grow, explore boundaries, and change.
Jamie was born and raised in beautiful NW Arkansas and has always been a Hog fan. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, cookouts with friends, biking, snow skiing, and soaking up beautiful sunshine.
