Austin Brown, LPC
Austin has been practicing since 2018 and is able to meet at the Fayetteville office, or via telehealth anywhere within Arkansas.
He has advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and often helps with trainings in the Arkansas EFT community. He works primarily with adults, seeing both couples and individuals. He conceptualizes trauma, anxiety, depression, and relational issues through an attachment lens.
Austin also has a particular interest in working with those that do/have served in ministry settings, as well as those that have experienced hurt as part of a community of faith. He desires to help people live secure in their identity and purpose, confident they are loved and worthy of belonging.
Outside of the office, Austin is a “jack of all trades” as a musician, carpenter, and IT guy with interests in reading fiction, watching Razorback sports, and spending time with family. He is also the creator and co-host of The Mental Health and Ministry Podcast, created to help equip ministry workers with a holistic perspective of mental, emotional, and spiritual health.
