The Joshua Center (TJC) offers a limited number of internship opportunities to Masters and Doctoral level students who are seeking to become Licensed Professional Counselors and/or Marriage and Family Therapists. You may apply for placement in our Fayetteville, Jonesboro, Rogers, or Siloam Springs offices.

Please consider the following before submitting an application:

• We can not accept applications for interns only needing 1 semester of placement (must intern at TJC for a minimum of 2 consecutive semesters - must be enrolled in the appropriate class for the duration)

• All applicants must have completed a class for Technology Assisted Counseling or be enrolled in that class during their first internship semester

• Interns must be available to meet from 12p - 1pm on Wednesday afternoons for TJC intern meetings

• We are not able to place you as an intern if you or your immediate family member have been a client at The Joshua Center within the last 2 years

• The Joshua Center is a faith based, Christian organization

• You will be asked to provide references and upload a current resume with your application

Interviews for Spring semesters are typically scheduled in October, and interviews for Fall semester are scheduled for April. Candidates will be notified via email for interviews.

(This means that you would need to begin your practicum/internship during the above listed semester or later in order for your application to be considered. We are fully staffed up to the semester listed.)
